  15. My ex-modem blew on a stormy nite, a couple days ago and I bought a new
  16. 28.8 Zoom (internal). Never dealt with Zooms before, the file transfers 
  17. seem to go at an avg of 1.5kbs and the connection seems to go through 
  18. only at the 2nd try, so far (1st try seems to be a never-ending 
  19. trying-to-connect buzz). Anyone knows if these Zoom modems are worth 
  20. $150 or I should x-change for something more reliable?
